ADS Acquires Arkansas Division of Ozark Alarm
12/19/2008 ADS has acquired the Arkansas Division of Ozark Alarm, a Mountain View, Missouri security alarm company, with the transition to become effective January 1, 2009.
Ozark Alarm is an established presence in mid and Southern Missouri, with a broad client base including both residential and commercial customers. The transition will offer more responsive servicing for customers of the Arkansas Division.
Arkansas customers of Ozark Alarm will see little change in their actual alarm service according to company plans. “These customers are monitored by a very good central station that they are familiar with, and there are no plans to change that,” an ADS company spokesman said. “We will be in personal contact with each of those customers in order to take a fresh look at their security needs to make sure we are providing the best services possible.”
The acquisition will supplement the companies growing offering of electronic security subscribers. ADS is North Arkansas’ oldest and largest security alarm services provider, and the Ozark Alarm acquisition will broaden the service footprint, as well as strengthen the account base locally.
